Top 10 LHWs... 5 of them are european

Curious... all in the top 7 too.. they are 5 out of 7.

Only Manuwa is old and has not much left. The rest are there to stay for a while. At least will hang in the top 10. Misha should be there too but he shat the bed twice. Antigulov is top 15 too.
Also there are some good european LHW prospects out there not signed yet. Krylov decided to go and he was ranked too.

In the HW division they have 4 top 10 and it could be 5 but Ivanov just signed and is not properly ranked. A few of them are old tho:

Arlovski (close to retirement)
Volkov
Overeem (close to retirement)
Tybura (solid gatekeeper)

Oleinik, Struve and Shamil are top 15 too.



It seems that half of the ranked guys in the heavier divisions are european and that is just growing. Proof that murican athletes are playing football or basket or some other stuff? Or that european guys are just born big too (they dont have much success in lower weight classes).

European guys are not born BIG.
They're born TALL.

This is why there are a lot of European LHW - they're tall and they can cut. They're trim.
Also, LHWs you mention (besides Tybura) are mostly athletic as well

IDK which country you live in but pretty sure is not here. Unless you only consider big people who cant diet to 225 lbs and cut 20.

BTW.. Argentina would dominate 125 and 135lbs if just every kid I know did not play soccer.

I don't see them as being that good.. only Gus is a top level talent the rest are way way down in my book.
