Get in those water fountains and "win" it back...

You're young and healthy with a good job and you have no family. You lost nothing.

Cheer up and enjoy the good life.

There's this one method that always works. Stop gambling.

Stop being a degen scumbag, learn about EV and bankroll management

It happens and life goes on. We all make mistakes. Its only a issue if u continue to do this.

god damn lost 1/3 of my money overall. I'm 26, single, have a good job, and have no huge obligations but shit I'm depressed.

Help.

How much are we talking?

I hope for your sake you didnt decide to invest the rest in the stock market this week.

Put all the rest of your money on one big slot machine binge and see how many free drinks you can get before you lose it all.

Put it on black. When you lose it all, sue chuck e cheese. Why chuck e cheese? At such a young, innocent time we were brain washed into put coins in a machine for big prizes. We didn't get the big prize we would feed more into the machine.

Blame and sue chuck e cheese.

"Turning kids into homeless gamblers."

Don't gamble. It's immoral.

If all you lost is 1/3 of your scratch then consider yourself lucky, there was probably someone at the table gambling their last $20

The only help I can give is to remind you of the Number One Rule of visiting a casino or a strip club: "Leave the ATM card and credit cards at home and bring only as much money as you are willing to part with."

You clearly forgot this important lesson going in. Don't do it again dumbass.

I posted about this not too long ago in the "Tell Me Your Secrets" thread, I'll quote it and add some more details.
I was down in Vegas for UFC 181 and meeting my friend from Riverside, California. When we arrived on Friday we headed straight for The Stratosphere. After that I pounded a few drinks, then we headed to the Hard Rock, where I pounded more drinks:

UFC was fun though lol.

10 seconds- did you finish at least?

TS- it happens to the best of us. Suck it up and learn to control your shit. I hit vegas once or twice a year (work, friends) and I got blitzed at the Rio playing 1 hand blackjack. Was up close to a grand and all gone. I posed about it here a few years ago.

Haha no I did not. That whole story isn't my proudest moment, but it's whatever. Other people have done worse when drunk. I didn't even know what "trick rolling" was until a few months later when I watched an episode of Underworld Inc. called "Las Vegas Hustle."

Have a few kids so you don't have the money to do that in the first place.

Unfortunately that won't stop an addict.

Not saying TS is an addict, but the idea that not having money to gamble is an end-all solution is just not the case. enter: employee theft, fraud, etc.
gambling is nasty shit. you ever sit at vegas airport? it's filled with fucking losers.
