I remember reading a month ago that Aldo was training in preparation in case RDA pulls out. It might have been from a thread on here.

Also just went on to my bookies app now and they have Aldo joint favourite along with Cerrone to replace RDA.

I would love Aldo to be the replacement, so my question to you experts is....too early for Aldo, only three months after a brutal KO loss? Also Conor would have to lose weight again.

Why bother? We all know Aldo will drop out two days before the fight

They could fight at 155, so Conor doesn't have to lose weight. If Aldo wins, sets up a trilogy for the title.

If Conor can make 145 he should fight Edgar. That is a big IF at this point.

Aldo and Conor at 155 makes no sense and I doubt Conor would waste his time on that.

McGregor will likely negotiate an interim LW belt that he wills unify at 200.

No shit, people calling for a rematch have no fucking clue. Rematching a guy that quickly that KOed you unconscious is fucking suicide. Its like people think these guys are robots and dont feel any emotion. Aldo already looked like he was crumbling under pressure imagine now that he knows he could get KOed with 1 mistake.

Most likely not but I bet that is what the UFC brass wants. Get him a title defense now instead of an interim belt. He can still headline 196 this way.

A run of the mill LW fight seems lackluster.

ZERO interest in watching that fight again... would be a HUGE step back for McGregor, he basicly owned him like a Tiger owns a Kitten.

Conor has MUCH better options. Aldo huggers or Conor haters better get over it and move forward. Aldo really has to prove himself to fight McGregor again, he must look impressive against a top 3 fighter.

Conor is the definition of a prize fighter. He fights for the money. He'll fight whoever they put in front of him and give zero fucks about it.
