I know that its extremely unfair to Tony considering the whole title thing, but Poirier vs Khabib is obviously happening next. The UFC could make up for it by giving Tony a big fat bonus for this fight, ease the pain of not fighting for a belt.

This fight would be absolute mayhem, two guys that dont take a step back going at it. Both maniacs.
It also makes sense from a ranking perspective, winner gets the winner of the unification bout.
