I think Khabib will rip him to the floor easily anytime he wants. He's already alluded to Tony's "skinny" frame being easy to ragdoll. Tony has much better submission offense, but I am still sure that Khabib will mount and smash.

I think the idea is that Ferguson won't stop the TD, but he also won't fight it and make Khabib work on the ground while taking less damage. Which will lead to him being fresher and winning or finishing Khabib in the later rounds.

Honestly, I think it would be a 49-45 UD for Khabib. But Tony deserves his shot, whether he'll win or not.

Ferguson doesn't need TDD. That isn't his game. He flows with his opponent. Khabib will have a rough time holding Tony down, using up his gas tank to fight off elbows and submission attempts. And Tony will still be there through it all.
