He probably was kicking himself watching that fight. He prob would have given khabib his first loss on paper. Shame he had to wear those prescription sunglasses inside.

Blew a great oppurtunity

I think Tony would've beaten him that night in all honesty

He dominated Al but he took 2 rounds off and he just wouldn't have gotten away with that against Tony

You think he does that agaisnt Tony? No way Khabib decides to stand and jab Tony for 2 rounds.

What is the matter with you people?

It’s like you believe that a fighters performance in one fight would be exactly the same if you change the opponent.

- A 50-43 vs Al Iaquinta is an indicator that Fergie would’ve beat Khabib?

- However late notice/Staph Infected Kevin Lee RAGDOLLING Tony Ferguson for two rounds before gassing is okay?

Khabib is on his way to becoming MMA GOAT thanks to you guys. The standards are on par.

If Tony tore his knee tripping on the wire, he would have tore that tendon in the first round of fighting.

Khabib used Al as a training partner that night. He would've done the same with that goofy ass fighter ferguson

After watching this past fight I think I would pick tony now to beat khabib. I think he would be able to get back up from khabib's TD's with his bizarre transitions and constant activity off his back. Plus khabib obviously tired out going into championship rounds and tony could capitalize on that. Khabib can't afford to go into the clinch with tony either with the way he utilizes his elbows and ability to throw knees with his length. Having a reach advantage would go a long way as well....khabib's jab won't be nearly as effective

Yeah, it's not like Al was a last minute replacement with nothing to lose and everything to gain. And it's not like Khabib was preparing for Tony for the 4th fucking time and had some kind of a gameplan. I'm sure he'd fight the exact same way against Tony as he did vs Al.

Khabib will never lose to a man that almost got koed by Lando(looked like shit) and lost to Mj.

it's totally hilarious how before the fight khabib was unbeatable, and now after looking human for a few rounds the consensus is tony would have definitely beaten him. and in a fight he won 50-44 / 50-43. sherdog has its head permanently up its ass.

same forum that said Anderson Silva looked like shit agains Cote, so he was gonna lose to Griffin.

Lol at anyone who thinks khabib gameplans.

This is what Iaquinta was reduced to during that fight:

the Conor division brings all the casuals out.

<JagsKiddingMe> Why would a pro fighter NOT have a gameplan???

Tell Cerrone or other guys who don't watch tapes.

Khabib has the same gameplan every fight. He had the same gameplan for al that he had for tony that he had for max, etc.

This gameplanning bs is straight DELUSION brought on by khabib fans struggling to defend the most vanilla title win ever

Even if that's true, somehow 26 fighters couldn't handle a guy with no gameplan. Couldn't even take one round from him. Must be a good fighter, huh?

Try and stay on topic.

Didn't say he wasn't a good fighter. Watch them jims

To be fair, the only reason Khabib stood and traded with Al was because Al was absolutely useless on the feet.
