He wasn't really screwed over, he just wanted that role but it was never promised to him. He took an old statement from the past about a possible TUF with Khabib and used it for Conor's TUF season. He's just looking for paydays and he knows he's limited with options because he hasn't been able to get a win. The TUF would have been good for him but Chandler is just better overal. Conor beating Tony wouldn't get him a title shot and that's what they are angling for.

Tony just needs to re-focus that energy into his training and fights.
