Tony ferguson vs nate diaz

Tony would beat Nate to death. would be hard to watch

Nate beats guys who fight like Tony. Face first and brawl with volume. Poirier and Ferguson can overwhelm most of the division with that style, but against Nate they'll get dealt with.

Same as with Conor, Cowboy or MJ. Doesn't matter how big of a name they are or where they're ranked. Don't kick Diaz's legs and play a loose top game, but actually fight him, and they'll likely lose.

To see how this would go see Nate vs Cowboy... you're welcome.

Tony, by being a much better version of Nate.
Nate = infinitely better hands
and in terms of bread and butter jiu jitsu, he would school Tony.

Tony has more versatility, but Nate has very clear edges In two crucial components

Tony is better than Nate at everything. Literally.
Nate's boxing would > anything Tony has on the feet

and he has better jiu jitsu as well. Tony has a more unorthodox style In his jiu jitsu but that doesn't mean shit against someone with far superior bread and butter than you. Nate's been a high level black belt for many years. Training with kron for the past 3-4 years.

Nate would probably school him In the grappling.

Ferg has better scrambling, wrestling, and throws wierd ass shit from everywhere with endless cardio

Nate is kinda slow and plods around, but if you let him find his mark thats when he starts doing his damage, also lotta cardio.

Both have chins.

On the ground Id say its equal as even though Nates jitz game is far ahead, he doesnt have the wrestling pedigree to keep up with Fergs scrambles and ability to stand back up at will.

With them having similiar frames at LW this is a great scrap, needs to happen.

5 rounds. That is my dream matchup who takes it. Im going with nate.

In before a bunch of idiots who don't know MMA claim Tony is just a better version of Nate. 1. They are nothing alike. 2. Where Tony is better...really just kicks in wrestling he isn't relatively good at himself. Those are where Nate's weaknesses lie and Tony doesn't really posses the skill to abuse Nate like some one like RDA or Benson did. Nates a MUCH better boxer, and probably has better jiu-jitsu too. Certainly wouldn't be getting submitted by him which is where most of Tony's wins come from.

Tony waaay tooo active for Nate who's yet to learn how to check kicks....

Fantastic fight on paper. I'd take Nate all day long, I think he embarrasses Ferguson in the stand up and is much better on the ground

You aren’t going to KO or submit a Diaz brother so the game plan has to be to use TDs and hope you don’t get submitted while laying on top of them.

Nate beats Tony in a fight. Tony beats Nate by trying to out point him with TD’s.

I take Nate. Tony is way too fucking hitable, and Nate's conditioning is top notch.

No he isn't
There’s a reason why Diaz lost to Josh Thomson and RDA, while Tony beat them both.

Tony also holds sub wins over Barboza and Kevin Lee.

Diaz is good but he’s not better than Tony. Sure, he has an edge in boxing. We’ve seen 11 different fighters work around that boxing and beat Diaz.

That would explain why Tony got mopped by Michael Johnson were as Nate Diaz steam rolled Johnson. Chooch.

You're literally...incorrect.
