Short version - I think Khabib will dominate early, but Cucuy will get stronger and more effective as the fight gets into the championship rounds.

This matchup is so similar to Lesnar vs. Mir. Mir is probably the most dangerous HW off his back in UFC history (neck and neck with Werdum). Lesnar easily took Mir down in both fights, but got subbed in the first fight and succeeded with crushing GnP in the second fight. I think Khabib is too polished to get caught even though his GnP is aggressive. I see it going much like Lesnar vs Mir 2.

styles wise its like a wet dream.

2 distinct styles at the very top of the game... this is what I'd actually pay to see.

While Khabib is fresh I see him taking Cucuy down like he has everyone else. However Cucuy has a high output and if he can tire out Khabib he could come back hard round 4-5 and either finish Khabib or push it into a draw with a 10-8 rd 5.

If Khabib keeps with his nutritionist and can keep up a strong pace, I think he can outwork him and win a decision.
