Dariush is better than Hooker. Hooker will strike with Tony. He will let Tony be Tony. And Hooker isn't bad, he's pretty good. But I think he's the only winnable fight for Tony that's highest ranked.

Just because he's not championship material anymore doesn't mean he should retire. There are a few interesting matchups available for Tony. Give him a borderline top-10 or top-15 next. Hooker (both coming off losses), Gillespie (would love to see this one. Let's see if Gregor sinks or swims), Ferreira (looked pretty good against Gregor - pretty much the same situation). Tony can also fight the Islam-Moises winner. Everyone always accuses fighters of ducking Islam. I can't see Tony ducking if Islam is victorious.

Like I said, Tony vs. Nate or Tony vs. Conor are both interesting money fights. The fans get theirs, the promotion gets theirs, and the fighters get theirs. So, it'll never happen. Just makes too much sense.
