This fight does nothing for Sage. Gall is very unproven and if Sage beats him exactly this will be what people talk about.

We don't even know if Gall is UFC-level. If Sage loses it will be awful for his career. If he wins he is exactly where he is now.

 

If sage can't beat punk he probably doesn't belong. Of course gall could be really good right now, and develop more in the future. But at this point we simply don't know enough. Gall has never fought a true pro fighter with a record against other pros, he's basically a talented amateur

 

Northcutt is the only fighter on the ufc roster that literally looks lost when he gets put on his back.

Yea, I really don't know why Sage & his manager agreed to this fight. There's zero upside to it.
