It's actually a great move by Tommy. If the UFC says no, it's pretty weird, right?

I mean talk about a gigantic win for the fans!
 
Jon would need to take every PED in the book to take part in such a tournament.
 
It's a shame the fighters have better ideas than the gobshites in suits.
 
It sucks that this would be something absolutely possible in a different organization.
 
I still don't understand how Aspinall gets any hate.

He's exciting as fuck in the cage. He takes risks in order to do his own damage.

He's the best finisher in the sport. B--b-but Shavkat, yeah? Nah it's Aspinall.

He is humble and self deprecating but it's tempered with confidence so Americans can still somewhat get behind him. (As opposed to somebody like Arnold Allen who is SO self deprecating and his humour is so British he doesn't resonate with non British fans much whatsoever.)

He wants ALL of the smoke. He doesn't want to cherry pick anybody and just wants to fight the best guys in the world. Jones, Stipe, Francis, Gane, Poatan, Pavlovich. He wants them all.

I get why Jones fans are rattled by him and will try to shit on him until Jones finally retires, but besides that I don't get some of the hate he gets.
 
Cool idea but would be a bad business decision to do all that one night, a lot of money to be made on a building another PPV based on those two winners fighting each other.
 
You can't do multiple fights in one night anymore unless you wanna do bs 1 or 2 round fights. I don't know how a pro fighter of all people doesn't know this.
 
Why stop at the old school one-day tournaments?

Tom should demand the return of no time-limit matches and the reinstatement of groin strikes and fish hooks.

Ya but look at his face. Hard to love.

He could play a monster in the next Hellboy movie without any makeup or prosthetics.
