i think vitality should be a judging factor.
Cruise still seems to have a nuke up his ass, dragging cinema out of a deathly pit by sheer will.
pitt is mopey and reflective, often looks depressed

I appreciate that they were in a vampire movie playing an obviously gay couple but everybody involved just decided to act like it was a couple of heterosexual bachelors just hanging out and adopting a kid together. in 1995 that seemed like the logical artistic decision.
 
dont know about Pitt but Cruise close up looks like a plastic doll. He had way too many cosmetic surgeries and the point is not far were he will look like a freak.

I guess thats the pressure of hollywood and his angst to stay young.

Honestly the film would probably have been better if they'd have played that up more, ends up being a bit bland otherwise compared to something like The Hunger.
