    Which do you like better?

If those two went to war who wins?

    Morgoth vs Sargeras

    the Eredar Vs the Elves

    Orcs vs Orcs,

    And Humans vs Humans

    Deathwing vs Smaug

    Archimonde vs Elrond ? Thranduil?

Nathrezim or Dreadlords vs the Balrogs ?

The Various Lich Kings vs those Dead Human kings that ride those lizard birds in LOTR

    Illidan Stormrage vs Saruman.

Eru Illuvatar vs the Old Gods

Who is the equivalent of the Ainur in WOW?

Tolkien Elves are not really "magic" wielders. They are really only humans with immortality, better senses, and better knowledge among other things.

Elrond isn't the most powerful Elf around in the Hobbit/LOTR era. Galadriel would be a better choice.

Those dead human kings are called the Nazgul.

Morgoth is one of the Ainur. The most powerful one as a matter of fact.

Saruman was a can who resorted to conquering and ruling over Hobbits.

Have to go with Tolkien as I know absolutely nothing about WoW.

I know Tolkien. I never got into WoW outside of playing a bit of Hearthstone.

WoW is a level of Nerdom I'm not willing to involve myself in.

Wow mythology was great before all the expansions with spaceships and floating space swords etc. got too scifi and complicated...in a bad way. Also shit that tautens can be paladins and stuff... I mean c'mon, I don't care how you justify lore wise.

I never took the time to learn the mythology behind WoW when I played it. But the evil dudes in wow overpower anything I've read from tolkien. The heroes are also a lot more powerful in wow.

I am more into Skyrim and Dragon Age.

I also think that Orcs should be the good guys.

I don't know the Warcraft Uni as well as Middle Earth, but just wanted to hang off Tolkien's nuts a bit and just say how impressive his world-building skills were. Good writer too.

The 2nd age is where it's at. I think only Galadriel was the only surviving elf who came from Valinor. If you read about her uncles Feanor & Fingolfin & their sons...those were badasses.

They were fighting stronger opponents than in the 3rd age where most are cans. Saruman was just an assistant in the 2nd age. Think about it.

You've got your ages mixed up. When you say second you mean the first. Second and third age were both Sauron.

And when you say "Saruman was just an assistant in the 2nd age" I assume you mean "SAURON was just an assistant in the first age". He was HNIC in the second and third ages.

Morgoth was a Valar, the most powerful one.

Sauron was an Ainur, the most powerful one.

Edit: oops, I was wrong, Sauron was the most powerful Maia.

I forgot what an Ainur was, you were right.
