That's right, I'm sticking to my diet, and no cake for me! :D ...Just thought I'd let everyone know! lol

I'm also sick with the flu on top of a sinus infection that I already had, so it's killing me to not eat really bready stuff (like crackers), although I am eating wheat bread, which isn't bad. :))))))))))

    Happy birthday,

Stick with it, good things will happen. Things like this are 99% mental and 1% physical (I say this as the actual act of not eating things that are bad, and the actual act of going to the gym / training are not that hard when you compair it to the mental struggle us newbs go through)

    Thanks everyone!!!

I know... :( I've given in, but only to diet soda, so I guess it isn't that bad. No caffeine, sugar, carbs, sodium, aspartame, or anything like that either, but I heard the citric acid can mess some people up. Ah, oh well. :D It's my birthday 'splurge'.

P.S. Marine, what diet are you on?

    I agree...

It's good to know that some people are actually supportive of my desire to lose weight. The people on other boards that I have gone on, which are fat 50 year old women, all talk about hwo they think I am anorexic and I need therapy. hahahahaha They say that even if I think that I'm a little too curvy, I'm healthier that way, but they don't take into consideration that if you've a very petite person (i.e. small bone structure), you're going to weigh a hell of a lot less than if you were the same height but had like broad shoulders and such. haha I think that guys also just want more attractive women walking around, so you'll be supportive of one trying to perfect her body. lol

I was wondering this for any like work-out experts on here... I've been doing 100 walking lunges and 100 body squats (yes, I am very sore), in addition to other workouts, and it seems like my butt is already changing shape and much rounder, after only doing this like 10 times! Is this possible, especially where I've been eating LOTS of protein, or is it just the dieting that is changing my shape???

Thanks again everyone! I ate a liiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiittle tiny bite of cheesecake this morning, but it was only the size of a dime, so I'm sure that it didn't screw up the diet. ... Or at least I hope not. So angle food cake is really good (well, better) for diets??? What about a lowered-carb diet?

"Happy birthday and I'm glad you're sticking to your diet bro. Sounds like it's going good for ya."

 Yep, but I doubt that any guy would be 102 pounds. hahahaha (Yes, I am one of the very few women on this board.)

Good, stick around and stuff, we're in desperate need of more estrogen-driven commentary around here as the testosterone has positively run a-mok.

Angel food is good because it's basically air with a little bit of taste. You get the light cool whip and some fresh strawberries, you have a low cal version of Strawberry Shortcake that isn't half bad.

All of this talk of cake...I have some shampoo that is coconut scented, it smells just like German-chocolate cake. Makes me hungry when I take a shower. :D
