Today...I realised how good Fedor really was

People need to realize that it was Cain's pace that beat Junior. Fedor doesn't do what Cain does so it would be a completely different fight.

Have you seen Fedor fight? He fights at a fast pace and constantly mixes his striking and clinch/takedown game. It's pretty much the same gameplan that Cain used to turn JDS' face into hamburger meat with some kicks and submissions thrown in as well.
 
If Fedor had JDS in the positions Cain had him in he would've been subbed.

Not necessarily. Fedor kept the entire fight on the feet and refused to engage Nog on the ground in Fedor/Nog III.

Watch his fight with Hunt. He practically got subbed by a kickboxer with 7 MMA fights.

Man, if the Hunt that fought then had the ground game of 2014 Hunt...the history of MMA would be different. Hunt would be GOAT. Too bad he seems to have only taken his ground game seriously these past couple of years.

Mirko in his prime was the equivalent of JDS; both are fear strikers. If Prime fedor were to fight JDS, he would have use the same game plan he use against Mirko and that's pressing the action nonstop. And we have seen what happen when JDS is push up against the fence, gets taken down, etc (Cain beatdown 2 and 3)

Yup people some to forget that Fedor also fought with a broken toe and altered his stand up in that fight. Hunt was also a replacement because Barnett declined the fight with Fedor.
