I woke up at 4 am and just caught the last two fights. What fights were worth going back and watching?

I'd say nearly every fight was good. except the 3rd fight with the girls and the 1st GP match.

all fights except Asakura vs Garcia, Nakai vs Murata (had a finish though) and well TK vs Baruto was boring as hell though Baruto's conditioning impressed many.

    which one? :D

Also, Asakura showed some spirit, she's really tough. And Baruto gave some hard knees from sprawl position so I guess it was okay fight. All of the fights were okay, it was really great night of fights. Entertaining JMMA!

Asakura vs Garcia was the only fight I wasn't that into, not necessarily bad but definitely the weak link of the card. Josh Barnett's corner advice was pretty entertaining though.

Wada vs Kai, Motoya vs Nascimento, Kitaoka vs Cruickshank, Yachi vs Sismundo, and Tenshin vs Sappun were the standouts to me but overall a very fun event.

all the fights were pretty low level overall -- but each fighter was matched well with an equally low caliber opponent -- so, it seemed competitive.

Who gives a damn about the level of competition. J-MMA around NYE is all about entertainment.

No, 400 lb sumo's dont fight middle aged 200 lb fighters in the modern day UFC.

The caliber in the UFC exceeds that of Rizin.

Yeah hard to find top level competition when there's UFC having pretty much all of that. Even UFC has low level competition so the other orgs are competing with that pool, too. Hard to have elite superstars.

i guess some would find this morning's event entertaining -- i had glimpses of it.

Joe Warren abysmal commenting providing the majority of it.

Cruikshank and Koala was worth watching if you don't know the result. I skipped the WMMA fights cuz I started streaming at about -2hrs and always skip that stuff; but I watched the rest and was entertained for sure. Looking forward to the Finals.

The best bit (apart from being deeply inappropriate about the girl walking out with Mirko) was when he was talking about how important conditioning was going to be in the next round, even though the fight was over.
