Werent you saying before the fight that he has brittle hands and will break his hands for sure? Now all of the sudden he's lying as if he's not known for his hand issues

There is no need for excuses. Paulie outboxed Artem. Nothing happened outside of what was expected by any educated fan. Paulie has zero power in his hands, so him not being effective with his punches was the only logical outcome i could expect. Especially considering he is a retired boxing. Don't sleep on this little fact. Being retired from a combat sport means a lot regarding what you can or cannot do. People don't just keep their abilities forever.
 
Shouldn't have mattered.

Boxers fight with broken hands all the time, that's no excuse for Lobov even being close to winning a round under those conditions. Imagine if it was an MMA fight.
 
Paulie himself it wasn't broke just a little "sore" look at Artems left hand.. that's what a broken hand looks like

From all the shit Pauli talked about how uneducated MMA fans are, it sure seemed like he believed he still had his abilities and was going to walk right through Artem. The mere fact that anyone gave Artem a slight chance, offended him.
Had he not been such a douchey clown show in the lead up to the fight, I’m sure more people would’ve been a lot easier on Pauline. He brought it upon himself. Thems the breaks.

Why would we want to imagine a retired boxer in an mma fight? That would be like imagining a 50/50 clumsy mma fighter doing a 12 boxing fight. It was bad enough people are super jazzed about a retired boxer fighting an average mma fighter with no gloves. People have not cared about Paulie in a competitive way in over 2 years and the only reason people care about Lobov is because he is Conor's buddy who got heavied by Khabib.

I guess these guys get one more shot at the spot light.
 
Paulie's own damn fault regardless of whether he is lying or not. He should have begged to wrap pillows around his hands. Meanwhile Artem was actually BORN with T-Rex arms. He is basically handicapped. A broken hand or two has nothing on that.
