I respect Joe Warren's not tapping to the RNC & going out. He's tough. Not saying I admire the choice exactly (I'd be tapping fast with both hands,) but stubbornness can be a very good quality.
What other fighters have done the same, i.e., refused to tap to a locked submission, and paid the consequences? I realize there have been quite a few. Miesha Tate (first vs RR) comes to mind as I type, others too.
How about submission types - are there any subs that, once locked in, ALWAYS get taps? And why? - are they especially painful or scary?
