To old to start

If you know you want to do MMA, why start with BJJ when you're 27 allready?

i know everyone hates gracie mag but:

Ram Ananda of Cobrinha BJJ is proof that age is just a number. At 36 years young, he won the brown belt light-featherweight division at the 2014 World Championship

I started at 28 years old. I train at my own pace and I'm alright...for the most part.

if you really have to ask this question to random people on the internet , you don't have what it takes to compete. ... so yes, for you, it's too late.

To fight mma. Nope.
To compete or train BJJ. Nope.

Ive thought about this myself the last year (boxing background & now a blue belt BJJ at 30years old.
I think there are alot of things I'd be asking myself & you have to be really honest with yourself, what do I want to achieve in MMA, is it really possible, are my striking skill already good enough to be competitive at the level I want to fight at (because your groung game will be lacking).
It is possible I just think your success will vary depending on your current skills & you need to have a realistic view of how you will do & what you expect to achieve.
That's how. Came to my conclusion.
