"LA's food is average at best". People clearly have have not been to LA.

Best Mexican food in the country.
We have Little Tokyo,Koreatown,Thai Thown, Little Armenia, a ton of Iranian restaurants,Middle Eastern Food, South American cuisine. We have it all.

Yet people are complaining about pizza(which in fact there are a ton of great pizza places in LA) and beefs(whatever that is)?

    Haters gonna hate.

As much as I hate LA, you have a point. Damn good place to eat.

As you will notice, most of the cars' red tail lights are not lit up indicating they are still moving even if slowly.

I live just inside the northern border of L.A. county. There is not one good thing about that shithole.
Skid row stretches at least 40 city blocks. I have seen dead bodies on the sidewalk.

Just vacationed in San Fransisco and Yosemite. Came from L.A. county. San Fransisco is just as bad and ugly. The golden gate bridge was small. The Oakland bridge is better. Yosemite has the plague. All of California has turned into Los Angeles. A shit hole. Even central farm land California had TERRIBLE traffic. I could hardly believe it. I have lived here all my life.

That is the map with the city seal. I did not count inside every square and triangle but I would estimate 40 blocks. Like when you take a walk around the block without crossing a street. The sign lists the number of city blocks but it is obscured by the pole. You can see a zero so its 10 20 30 40 or more. Only seen one dead body on the sidewalk but only been there twice.

Most Mexicans are cool as heck, man. Minus the thugs, they're generally hardworking, family-oriented folks who eat some awesome food.

I hope your not living in an apartment. I stand corrected. There are a few good areas mostly near the beach. If you can afford it awesome. If you don't mind tourists and homeless, awesome. I prefer Santa Barbara area to any L.A. county beach though.
I have two children so I have to pay mortgage (rent is for people with no kids that don't want to pass down anything to their children) and I need four bedrooms and an acre. I have that for $580 a month. I even stopped working at age 35 and sell comic books on ebay when I feel like camping at the beach. I am about to inherit a house in Pico Rivera and another one in Palmdale. When I do I will rent them out and move out of California. After living in this house less than 5 years I already owe less than half of what it is worth. I could move if I wanted but I kind of like driving my sandrail out here in the desert. Not much traffic since I live in the rural area on the far outskirts of Palmdale. I wouldnt mind staying out here and spending my money on toys but my wife wants a house in a nice climate and neighborhood so...
P.S. my 6 year old son is at the beach with grandpa today. He just learned how to boogey board this month and loves it.
