TJ was right to leave TAM, he's not a snake

I think TS is confusing "falling short against the top of the division" (like many TAM memberz have) to TAM being a bad camp.

Bro... if you even get to the title shot or are in the top 5 or 10... you're probably in a pretty damn good camp!

Faber was ok with Joe B. leaving, because Joe talked to Faber like a man and had enough respect for his friend to tell him how he felt and he needed a change. Faber didn't say one word about it, in fact, TAM didn't mention it for almost 2-3 months after Joe left for Colorado.

This is the right answer!

Its not the leaving that was the problem, its the way TJ left that created this whole drama. If he talked to Faber before hand and explained his situation then it would have been fine. Sadness from Fabers side but its respectable.

That and afterwards, TJ was bad mouthing Faber in regards to beating him and everyone at TAM which was a cunty thing to do...

Faber found this kid living/wrestling in the streets as a high schooler and brought him in, showed him the ropes, and groomed him for greatness. there's such thing as loyalty

TJ was an opportunist, the exact definition of snake in the grass

No you dumbass and the 30 odd other dumb ass's who liked your post as well.

Someone who is a snake in the grass is not an opportunist, that is no where near the exact definition.

In retrospect, I'm pretty sure Faber probably feels he could have handled it a different way or take back some of the things he said about TJ, but considering Faber had been defending TJ's character from the very beginning, it's understandable why he felt like he'd been betrayed and lied too.

The fact that the UFC has a "reality" show is a fucking embarrassment to Martial Arts.

Leave that to the Kardashian's cause it makes the "sport" look fake as hell!

You're a dummy, because the UFC isn't about martial arts, it's about prize fighting.

LOL seriously? You do know TAM fighters have a different corner each fight? TS is right, they refuse to evolve, just a bunch of mediocre wrestle boxers.

So what does that mean? Jackson-Wink has Winklejohn in the corner sometimes, and sometimes its Brandon Gibson. Sometimes Izzy is there and sometimes the other JW wrestling coach is in the corner.

Is TAM behind in striking compared to other big gyms? Yes, of course they are since Duane left, but overall within the UFC, TAM is amongst the best gyms.

No they're not, TAM isn't a good gym, it's all well and good comparing them to J/W but they don't have a structured coaching system like that, they just have a bunch of ex-fighters rotate corners between fights.

Right.

So how about guys that fought for the belt multiple times? Yeah terrible camp

How many champions has Duane trained, not counting TJ because he inherited TJ when he was already a good fighter
TJ was not a good fighter. John Dodson easily outstruck him before Duane was there.

I am hearing the same thing I am hearing from Dillashaw now as I heard from Bang

Dillashaw is now saying he has nothing in Colorado he owns nothing he has no gym he has no ownership in anything there

that that was what Bang was saying when he was in Sacramento this is going to be interesting

He no-called no-showed.

You fucking assholes live in glasshouses.

TJ wasn't wrong to leave, he just did it in a very immature and cowardly way. he let Conor call him out on it on national TV and proceeded to do just as Conor said he would.

If TJ had come clean with Faber early on and not come on TUF (seemingly to promote himself and Bang), then nobody would care

Let Conor call him out on TV?

Anyone who followed MMA had a pretty good feeling TJ was gonna stick with Duane, not like what Conor said had any effect on anything
