''TJ was hitting the air all night hurr durr''

I'm not going to rewatch but I recall thinking Cruz eked out the first 3 rounds. Then he got his ass kicked the last two. Another case of the shitty 10-point-must system screwing up a fight, but hey they knew the rules, so Cruz earned it.

TJ would have beaten him in an immediate rematch and would destroy him now.

Why hate Dom's style? If everyone fought that way it'd bug the crap out of me, but since it's only one guy I find it cool and unique.
I think his style is boring and deceptive.I feel his herky jerky dancing makes the judges look like he is being more active than he really is.Also doesn't go for the finish.Always punches to score points

Not everyone has power though. Dom just doesn't seem to hit that hard.

Thanks for explaining though. Different strokes for different folks I guess!

TJ beat The Air that night 50-45 but lost to Dom bro,

Just deal with it, Cruz won.

'hurr-durr', grow up you fucking virgin.

Whenever Dom had the takedown TJ got up in like 1 or 2 seconds. He still won the wrestling in those rounds tho.But when TJ had the takedown he controlled him for 60 seconds. You can agree or disagree TJ is a better wrestler for me.
60 seconds?!

Stop calling other people dummies, when you open a thread and everybody tells you that you are wrong, but you insist that "no, no, I am right, please believe me"

1. OK, if you don't like Fightmetrics, show us a source where TJ outstruck Dom.
2. No, just because he had more control with his takedown it does not mean he was better at wrestling than Dom.
3. Doesn't have to do with the fight, but it does have to do with your IQ when defending TJ. Are you his wife, Mirela?
Per Fight Metric, TJ outstruck Dom. FFS there are significant strikes and total strikes.

TJ landed more TOTAL strikes. That is outlanding someone. When you land more.... Outland... to land more than the other....

It's such a terrible argument of Cruz fans because it's not even a correct one.

130 strikes for TJ
122 strikes for Cruz.

Which is more? 130 or 122? You also know why it's a terrible argument? Fights are not scored as a whole. They're scored round by round so who landed more in the fight overall isn't even relevant when every round is 10-9.

Dominick Cruz didn't deserve the nod over TJ because he landed 3, 3 more significant strikes...

60 seconds?!

You are right not 60 seconds of ground control. But he controlled Dom on the ground for 10 seconds and TJ was Dom's back kneeing Dom's leg quite a while.Re-watched the fourth round and I was remembering wrong.

This thread is an example of why TJ and is fans are the most hateable in the sport of MMA. Couldn’t have a bigger weekend and they are still crying about a loss from 2 years ago.

Guess what, then, today, 25 years from now. It’s a loss. He lost. After 4 years lost due to injuries on 2 reconstructed knees, Dom beat Tyler Jeffery Dillashaw.

Why? Because of correcting a false narrative?

At the end of the day TJ has surpassed Cruz. Cruz in his prime never looked as dominant as TJ has lately.

TJ did the most damage in the fight.
Cruz foot/leg was fucked up in the end, but Cruz had a stronger start in the fight.
Fight was so close it just shows how terrible the judging was.
That really should been a draw and TJ shouldn't lost his belt.

The funny thing is that Cruz was hitting air all night as well.

In closing, All of the above sources, and every source on MMA, unequivocally state that Dominick Cruz beat TJ Dillashaw to regain the UFC Bantamweight title he never lost.

I rest my case.

Hahaha. That's not the main case tho.I made this thread because ignorant Dom fans still saying TJ hit the air all night as if it does mean anything.I wanted to show unified rules don't count the missed shots and they are irrelevant when it comes to scoring a fight. That's the main case.

But if you want to argue that we can.
