TJ vs Dodson, premature stoppage?

After the way Dodson besmirched Bedford on TUF, its understandable why Herb was so quick on the trigger...dude can inflict crazy damage even with a few seconds

Yeah, Dean had a good reason to be cautious.

I just pulled up the fight again on fight pass - Dillashaw was done. After the stoppage, he stumbles to his left while Dean holds onto him and he looks in full blackout mode. As evidenced above, Dodson can do a lot of damage in that amount of time.

Wow you're right, that stoppage was BS. Dillashaw was still intelligently defending. Thanks.

And to people saying he was wobbly after, that doesn't justify a stoppage. You fight until the other guy can't intelligently defend, not until he's wobbly.

So in other words let him take a beating until he's concussed. You do realize people defend themselves while still being out of it right? Going for some kind of hold or take down is usually muscle memory while they are hurt. hence fitch vs hendricks. Shields vs ellenberger, and countless other examples of fighters being knocked silly still trying to defend. Hendos eyes were shut and he was still trying to wrestle the ref after belfort knocked him out.

I get it, TJ is the man of the hour but Dodson won it fair and square.

And you do realize people can still win a fight if they're still defending themself right?

Please, learn to stop arguing when you are wrong, if you see TJ after the stoppage you know that was a good stoppage, sometimes is OK to said

Yeha i mean as soon as the fight was over Dillashaw was stumbling all over the place. he had no idea where he was or what was going on.

John Dodson vs. TJ Dillashaw. What a Finale to have. Dodson was close to becoming champion too.

How many times have you heard "fighter safety is the #1 concern"? It's a completely valid argument to say that a fighter who is wobbly and can barely stand is not in a condition to intelligently defend himself.

Herb Dean! That bastard! He was rocked like a mofo, but it was a very early stoppage.
