In this interview, Dillashaw talked about facing Aldo in the near future.

I can't decide if TJ annoys me or not

Seems like he is always walking that line between cocky and true. It is hard to argue with the things he says. My problem is he didn't look so good in his last fight either but a change of opponent last second might do that. I still think TJ will be an elite fighter for years to come. But i find myself simply liking other guys less than necessarily being a huge TJ fan. But he earned the right to talk so I can't fault him there.

People will bitch and say TJ doesn't deserve to fight another Champ yet and maybe there is something to that, but gotta respect his balls

Also after the contenders in his division got injured he has a window to take another fight, he could be like MM and fight a can but i like this better

A real shame that the real champ Dominick Cruz is out of the mix...it would have brought balance to the force ;)

He has 1 title defense at BW (if you can even call that a defense) and is seriously considering being the next contender at FW?

Kids got dreams I'll give him that!

The problem is they said Aldo cant hold two belts so why would they allow TJ to do it... most likely you have to surrender a belt to take that chance. that being said I hope Aldo beats him

I know what you mean.. My girlfriend and I met him after his fight at UFC 158 (back when he was on the prelims). I asked for a picture, he stopped and he was an incredibly nice guy. We had a chat for about 5 mins about his training, diet, different things so he won me over from that haha. Honestly I think any champion (especially young ones) are going to have to be a little arrogant in some ways.. Unless your names Machida:wink:.. Conors getting a lot of attention and making more money then some of the champs while being treated like a king, and he's not even champion with all of 4 fights.. I can understand why some may wana see him lose. At the same time, he doesn't think Siver has any chance to win either so he obviously credits Conors skills.

aldo will beat his legs down so he can't move anymore. Plus if cruz didn't get injure, he would rag doll dillashaw.

I think TJ has good footwork but I don't think he has the power to threaten Aldo. Aldo's chin is tremendous and if you can't KO him, he's going to figure you out like he did against Mendes
