Something that doesn't get mention that I think made a huge difference in the first fight was TJ's pressure. Even at the start of the 2nd round TJ was constantly moving forward and Garbrandt just couldn't handle it and got finished.
How do you guys see the fight happening this time? Who has improved more in their time off?

Go TJ!

Well considering one is about as smart as a lump of coal, and the other is a spineless slithery little snakey pos...I'm not sure I care who wins, or how.

But I can't wait to see it!

Garbrandt becomes more patient and waits to long. TJ by decision win or he will finish him again

IDGAF as long as Rivera gets the next shot after he his next win

I don't care what TJ or anybody says. This fight makes the most sense right now. It was always gonna be the elephant in the room until they rematched.

That being said, I see Cody winning in a thriller.

Cody has a good jab but doesn’t use it much. I think he should keep that jab and back up TJ. In those exchanges he needs to keep his hands up, which is what got him ko’d in the first fight.

This. You can't risk losing the intrigue in two 135ers. It's very rare, and 900k people just watched the first fight end with TJ recovering from a near KO, finishing Cody, then screaming in his face. I don't understand why people think it's more important that TJ gives someone else a shot than it is to capitalize on the heat they have together.

What if Cody gets KTFO again?
I think that is what will happen again. Garbrandt only has a punchers chance against TJ.

Garbrandt style is to sit and wait, and that simply won't work on TJ, unless Garbrandt gets a lucky shot that completely shuts TJ out.

Hoping for a Cody first round TKO.

I'd actually say Cody typically thrives in that environment. He wants to be able to sit back and wait for somebody to come into the pocket so he can counter. What he had trouble with, was sitting back while TJ started picking at him from afar in the second round.

Cody did absolutely nothing do deserve this fight after he got finshed. - No Lineker,Rivera,Moraes etc.fight to qualify himself for a title-shot ! TJ. had to fight Lineker and Assuncao to earn his spot and that after a very questionable loss to Cruz.

Only because DJ is Ducking TJ per Dana <{danayeah}>

Garbrandt is a very good counter puncher. See the Cruz fight and he wanted to counter Dillashaw with his right hand like in sparring and like in the first round.
Dillashaw pressured staying at kicking range. So you are wrong.

Garbage, man. Garbrandt just got KTFO he doesnt deserve an immediate rematch.

Hate this match up. I can't wait for the day this sport gets past this barbaric ass "Instant rematch" bullshit.
