Has anyone tried any of the Title MMA gear? They make MMA safety gloves that look exactly like the CSI only $20 cheaper. Is the quality any good?

Thanks

I just ordered a pair of the Title MMA ultimate training gloves - seeing as everywhere else appears to be sold out of the shooto style gloves. They do look a lot like the Truth and CSI gloves...

I will let you know how they feel, I will probably get them next week.

I owned a pair of Title boxing gloves that I had problems with. I e-mailed them a few times but I never received a response. With all the companies out there with good customer service, I can't justify supporting them again.

Just ordered and received my Muay Thai bag from them last week. When i placed my order i emailed them a question - never received a response.

Package arrived all tore up and broken. Luckily the bag was fine. Probably the last time i deal with Title.

Weird about your ordering problems, as I just recently ordered some pink handwraps. They were out of stock, and I received a prompt email telling me that. I then replied asking if they had the Everlast variant in, which they did. Had them cancel my order and now the second order is on the way.

I've always had excellent responses from Title, even when canceling an order such as I did today.

Ordering from them doesn't seem to be the problem but several people including myself have had no luck getting a response when something is wrong with their products. Seems like they get your money and then they couldn't care less after that.

I dont know about the gloves but I placed an order of a bunch of stuff with Titlemma and the service was great, I didnt have any problems with packages or deliveries and they threw in a tshirt as a freebie, so I recommend it.

Well, finally had a go with them last night. There are some imperfections with the glove when I received it, a minor nick in the leather, and then some scuffs on the wrist wrap area, but nothing serious enough to put me off. There is some light padding on the back of the hand which offers some resistance to extreme wrist movement, but not enough to really restrict my hand motions.

The glove is a bit stiff and will need some time to break in I guess, I have medium hands and ordered a regular size, fairly happy with it. The open palm is fantastic, allowing grabbing without any problems.

Being on the receiving end of the glove, the padding is in the right place and offers fantastic cushioning. I am quite happy with the glove, although I have a feeling the Truth glove is probably better without the padding on the back of the hand.

I have the title GEL headgear. Its pretty comfortable and the quality is great. Luckily I haven't taken too many puches with it on yet but definitely helps prevent cuts.

Title did mess up an order on me though. I ordered thai trunks and got a sweatshirt. They overnighted the trunks when I called and complained. I'm still waiting a reimbursement for shipping though.

Just wanted to TTT this incase anyone else have experience with the Title MMA Training glove.

UKBBC, do you think for 20 bucks less it is worth it to get these over the CSI ones?

And one more question, anyone have an idea of when Truth might get some of theirs back in stock?

TKF,

Just looking at the CSI MMA training glove, I would say they are exactly the same construction, just different colour and branding. However, I don't know how the CSI glove feels. I am still trying to break in the glove (even Truth website says that their MMA training gloves require a break-in period) but it is getting better with usage. The padding is really good, as comfy as my Windy training gloves I would say. The glove is stitched together well, and being leather, I am hoping it will last a while, so if you are in a hurry for a good cheap training glove, these would probably fit the bill.

Seeing the Truth glove on sale makes me want to get a pair of those too, but they always seem to be out of stock...

thanks alot brother, I think im gonna grab a pair.
I'll review the gloves once i put them through a couple of training sessions.

I have the title MMA training gloves. I compared them to my buddy's CSI MMA training gloves, and they look to be *exactly* the same gloves to me. I had zero problems with shipping or service, and the gloves arrived in good condition. I'm happy.

yeah i ordered handwraps from them which said on the page they were in stock item... next couple days i get a phone call telling me they are out of stock and would i want to wait or exchange for a another brand name.. so i exchanged for some other ones which i was fine with..

only problem i had with them is that they billed me late for the handwraps i exchanged for and it took almost 2 weeks for me to get some new handwraps

overall rating=5
better mma websites out there.. but Title like ringside.com has some good closeout deals once in awhile

I ordered from them last year got some MMA bag gloves, wraps, heavy bag, speed bag. No problems at all. I can say that I like my SSF bag gloves a lot better though.

I just had a positive experience with Title Boxing. I ordered a double end bag, and the bladder was unfortunately punctured when I received it. They promptly replied to my email and directed me how to return the item, and then they sent me out a new one with a free bladder!

Title and CSI are part of the same company.

Are you sure? Ringside owns CSI and Title owns Title MMA. I'm fairly sure Ringside and Title are two different companies...

As for all those gloves looking the same I believe Paul from Truth said they're all made at the same factory....

Title and CSI are not the same. Ringside=CSI if you have a wholesale account you call one guy for both brands.

Thanks for the other info on the MMA training gloves. Sounds like it's worth it to save $20 and get the Title ones.
