Title Boxing to Canada

So! After reading past experiences with Title boxing to Canada, I've decided to go see for it myself. I have no affiliation with them whatsoever and this is my first time ordering from them! They said my order should be coming within 3-4 days. And my order was given the ok today about an hour ago! I put my order as an "Express" Delivery ($77) first to try that out for you all. I'll order again as a standard order. So I ordered about $135 worth of gear (I'll do reviews on the pieces of gear I got) and plus the shipping, it became about $212. I did some calculations and found similar gear would of been the same price or a bit more if I ordered the similar gear due to shipping from multiple sources. And even a piece of gear isn't here in Canada as far as I could find (Jaco Guardian Protective Cup System). Money is money. So before flaming me about wasting cash, just remember, bank trucks don't follow funeral processions. I hope I can bring back good news about them! If not... The pen is as mighty as the fist as well.

The problem people had with ordering from Title is that you sometime get extra custom fees when the items get in Canada. Some received a bill by mail. I ordered once (50$ total) and never got charged extra, but it happened to some. We (Canadians) also get f...ed because our $ is so low at the moment.

Update: I just got my email saying it shipped. 3-4 days is the expected date. Tried the Tracking Number and it is unavailable to calculate. On the Title Website.. It says everything got shipped at once.

Yeah I saw that chart.. according to UPS since I ordered so much.. I'd owe $44.xx
I just wanted to do this to see if Title made an effort to fix the complaints from Canada. I know on hand at least 50 people who would be eager to spend $100+ on gear but they don't because of the horrible reviews. The customer service is a "copy and paste" response type. I dealt with Jackie and Lindsay.

I also bought all this gear on their Memorial Day Sale (Thank you to all the troops and people who gave their lives defending not just in America but the world) anyways I got 20%off so add that to the 75% dollar rate to CAD to USD.. I got .95 cents CAD to 1 USD. So a nickel difference which wasn't a huge hit. I'm Asian. I'm cheap. Hahaha

I bought my gloves from Venum and I gotta say... They are an awesome company to deal with. They run delivery to Canada like how it should be done & they do free shipping above $150.

A bit of background on me.. I started in MMA but I'm an odd duck.. I've been drawn to boxing instead. But I still wrestle and roll around from time to time. It's pretty darn good exercise.

Ahhhh I wish. Haha I went with the 16oz Challenger 2.0 (All Black) and matching shinguards.. They're pretty awesome sparring gloves. To me, they feel a bit longer to they help fortify the wrist when punching and they're pretty comfortable.
Look wise, unbeatable.

Did you get the new Venum Elite gloves ? Always wondered about them.

Alright! So a new update! I tracked my package and it has a whole bunch of scans to everywhere 3-4 US places and 2 places in Canada. I thought it was shipped here already but sadly no. I gave UPS a call and asked them where it was. The lady on the phone was quite nice and told me my package was still at customs in the US and that my package is still on track to be delivered by Monday! I asked her if there are remaining fees or any surprise fees left on the package and she quoted me "$19.95" give or take. Which means it might not be the final cost. Sooooooo to be honest I'm getting nervous a bit now. A breakdown she gave was $10 on brokerage fees and $8.xx on GST and .xx for something else. So we'll see come Monday what will happen. Stay tuned for the ending of this epic and riveting saga :|

Ps: Should of ordered a double end bag in my order. Damn.

Aye! Sooooo it finally came today! But I'm at work! No one was home. So I didn't get charged any customs/ duties or even taxes on my package. All it says that I owed to the driver was $19.40 and that was the C.O.D cost and that's it. So I'm not sure how they're gonna collect it from me cause I'm not gonna be around for a while. So I hope that this exciting tale has helped you.

In short.. I'm not sure if it was wondering via Express that eliminates the Duties/ Customs fee.

But! If there's another good sale.. I will order via normal postage and will keep you guys and gals all updated!
