Little hints to know that you are on the wrong trail. Doesn't necessarily mean you all-around suck, but something needs to be improved.

A little something from my repertoire of suckdom:

Your best sidemount escape is scrambling out on top after barely escaping the sub just put on you.

You're entire game revolves around one submission or sweep. I have a very successful half guard sweep, but I fear that I rely on it too much.

Ive developed quite a nasty triangle but I fear that I am looking for it too much.....better guys are passing my guard :icon_neut

I think you suck if you lack flexiblity....this sport is based on flexibility if you cant bend and flex you're dick is out in the wind!

You only got caught in the sub because you weren't sweaty enough to escape...

When you go for rear naked but end up with Bulgarian face lock.

You're only really good at one guard pass, but if another one works, it was mostly luck.

Your entire strategy for passing the guard is to drive your elbows into your opponents theighs as hard as you can.

if you don't learn from a loss, and if your ego gets in the way of progress and also helping others.

When you go for flying triangles and land on your head and everyone goes "OOOOO"

Yeah thats my forte, Im going to nail one oneday and it will all be worth it.

cosign. As a White belt sometimes I still revert back to this. Guess I need to knock it off.

When mounted, you wait for the opportunity to sweep, rather then work a elbow, hip escape

You let people butterfly sweep you so you can sprawl and scramble instead of working a butterfly guard pass. *guilty*
