No Taisumov deserves a better opponent than that, while I believe Matthews needs to take out a few veterans. I wouldn't mind Taidumov vs either Adriano Martins or Rashid Magomedov, the 2 other guys at LW who arguably deserve a top 15 guy as well. But honestly I'd like to see Taisumov take on either the winner of Chiesa/Dariush or Porier/Green. Al Iaquinta would be great as well. He der serves a big fight like that I think. Either a main card of a PPV or FOX card, or a co main for a fight night as well. Taisumov is the a bad dude, and I honestly think he could give any of those guys in the top 5 a run for theyre money

Problem is nobody in the top 10 will take that fight. Why would risk fighting Taisumov if you're in the top 10?? Just saying...

It would be a very good fight but I disagree. Let both guys hit an elite level before you match them up. Momentum is a very important key to MMA success. Don't let them lose so early. A longtime vet like Sanchez, Maynard, Lauzon, Gomi, Miller, or Pearson makes sense for these guys right now. They've been fighting subpar prospects (minus Matthews vs. Case which was also bad matchmaking IMO) thus far. Give them the next level up.

Also, don't put 2 prospects against each other and hurt one of their future careers.
