ufc hasn't been very active with the women's 135 division to create enough title contenders for ronda.

pannie kianzad is 7-0 right now and she needs a step up in competition. At the rate that ufc is showing the women's fights, ronda would practically be wiping the division by the end of this year.

Kianzad should fight Niedzwiedz first, those are the 2 best undefeated WBWs in the european circuits and would be a huge fight.

Maybe they don't really want a deep division. Just a chance to have another titleholder so they have better chance of putting a championship fght on one of their innumerabl events but not actually have that many women's fights being shown.

It's a lot easier to sell a #8 against a #10 than #25 against #30, so it could be tha they don't even want to try with the women.

But other fighters, especially undefeated ones, will get a chance because they aren't shy about cutting fighters with losing records.

Yeah the whole weightclass is pretty much Rousey.

If she left right now to become a full time actress there would be almost not interest in the division.

Takes time for fighters to get in the game and make there way up.

Look at the history of WMMA. Very few women have really made much of any money off WMMA so it didn't really appeal to women to get into the sport. Now that the UFC has been on board for 2 years I'm sure it has appealed to much more women to get into training. Just takes time for them to come up. Unfortunately the division probably won't have much depth till Ronda rides off in the sunset. But 5 years from now I think WMMA will be fairly strong with good depth.

What they really need to be doing is booking fights. There were like 17 WBW fights last year. Get some of their fighters more cage time.

Sign them both. No reason not to.

Here is one just waiting on the call.

She is fighting on the televised card for Legacy's Kickboxing inaugural event this Friday on AXS TV at 9pm Central.

Who cares? It's women's mma, they should dissolve the whole thing, there's no good fighters aside from Rousey and Tate

No they're not, they're just "better than the rest." That doesn't make them good fighters. That just makes them "better than the rest." Good fighters are technical, well rounded, and athletic. The only 2 women's fighters that have those 3 things are Rousey and Tate.

Oh please, Zingano was getting wrecked before Tate gassed. You want better proof, watch how fast Rousey disposes of Zingano. She'll be lucky to last more than 3 minutes. Zingano was losing to Nunes before she gassed as well.

I like how you write off Tate getting the shit beat out of her to lose that fight and neglect the fact that Zingano hadn't fought in like a year and a half because she completely blew out her knee and still won.

Cage Warriors contracts for women are 5 fight exclusives with no out clause, it's the main reason why Simon's Soukupova turned down their offer even though she would have plenty of fights.

I'm not sure you claiming Tate gassed in a #1 contenders fight is helping your claim that she's one of only two good fighters in the division.

Dominating what? Tate got swept several times from top position. When Zingano was on top, Tate couldn't even get up. When she eventually rematches Kaufman and when they match her against Davis, you'll see how bad she is. She didn't even do that well against Carmouche.
