He did promise he would drop down if cain got the belt, dunno if he really meant it and thought he would win lol

So now with Cormier signing a multi fight deal with the ufc, is it time for him to cut to 205?? Can he even do it?? Without dyin...

Whether Cain beats Overeem or vice versa (or they even fight), Cormier is the #1 contender and should fight for the HW title. There's something wrong if the top two guys in the HW division refuse to fight each other.

too soon. Let him get a fight in the UFC under his belt and let's see what happens with Cain/Overeem first.

Cormier's awesome. He beats JBJ if he can make the cut and stay healthy.

Jones is still faster with a much longer reach. And don't discount Jones' MMA wrestling.

Strong chin....Strong punches...Strong Wrestling.... He has a chance, but he needs to incorporate 4-5-6 punch combinations instead of relying on 1-2 power punches. He also needs to integrate heavy leg kicks in order to be successful against JBJ.

I could easily see JBJ dumping and elbowing DC for as long as it takes, but if DC makes the right defensive choices and game plans he could easily grind out a win over Bones. I would like to see JBJ lose a single fight in dominate fashion just to see how he reacts and thrives/strives to make a come back. Some fighters come back stronger than ever.

Cormier and Cain are not fighting. So if Daniel wants a title he's gotta move down.
I know he's had trouble getting that low in the past (olympics) but he seems confident he could get to 205 now. I'd love to see him fight Jones.

JBJ will have lotsa troubles with Daniel wrestling, he needs to fight first guys like Struve or Herman so he can gain some confidence at HW.

If this fight happens Jones will break him down with his MT.
