Tim Sylvia returns from retirement ... if the opponent will be Frank Mir

The last time he tried to compete, wasn't he deemed medically unfit to fight for being too fat?

Stick to shooting Deere and drinking beer Tim, and Mir is Fighting Javy Ayala pretty soon in Bellator I think.

Hes got like 100 lbs to lose and will have to find a way to pass his medical before he can even think about fighting . Of course Mir probably wouldnt mind not having to cut to 265, but even if they could have a bout at super heavyweight .... Didn't they find some sort of brain damage in Sylvias last medical?

If an AC can clear Chuck Liddell , Tim Sylvia will have no problem.

It's crazy how much he let himself go at the end of his career. Looking back at the 2nd Arlovski fight, he was probably in the very best shape of his life.
I think the Fedor fight was the last time he truely gave any fucks (263 lbs). 11 months later he ballooned to 310 for Mercer and has never been below 265 since (most of the time weighing 300+).

Oh god! See what you did Oscar!? Shit! Just wait! Tank vs. Kimo 2: No one kisses me!

Biggest brainfart in MMA history IMO.

Doubtful Mir coulda took him down (Rico couldn't & Nog pulled guard). Timmy likely woulda KO'd Mir had he not chose to take him down.

I agree. People seem to forget just how dangerous he was when he first came on the scene. Current Mir ruins him though. That's a testament to how hard Sylvia has fallen
