This guy is really serie-worthy.

Early life
Means began training at the age of 12, as he was a troubled kid and was taken under the wing of a local trainer.

Trouble strikes
Means was involved in a shooting incident outside of a bar and suffered a nine-inch gunshot wound in the femoral artery of his thigh. Means was prescribed painkillers and morphine, and developed a morphine dependency. After Mean's prescriptions ran out, he began experimenting with methamphetamine.

4 years in prison
A few years after Means began using meth, he found himself in trouble with the law, and was charged with aggravated assault after punching a man who broke into his home. After serving the four-year prison sentence early in his MMA career, Means turned his life around.

Means began his MMA career in 2004, recording a 3-2 record before serving a prison sentence. After serving the four-year prison sentence early in his MMA career, Means turned his life around.

MMA return
Means returned to MMA in 2009 and reeled off six consecutive victories via first round stoppage, including a nine-second TKO win over Matt Green at KOTC: New Breed. He earned his first title at KOTC: Steel on Oct. 7, 2010 when he defeated Bobby Green to win the KOTC Junior Welterweight (160 lbs) belt.

He defended the belt on four occasions, most recently in a first-round TKO victory over Mario Ramos at KOTC: High Performance on Nov. 19, 2011. He added the KOTC Lightweight title with a victory over Tye Brown at KOTC: Total Destruction on Jan. 21, 2012.

UFC
Means made his UFC debut on February 15, 2012, defeating Bernardo Magalhaes by unanimous decision. After four fights he's 2-2 in the organisation but gets released.

Legacy FC
After his release from the UFC, Means was called to replace Danny Salinas in the main event against Pete Spratt on September 13, 2013, at Legacy FC 23. He won via first-round knockout.

Means then defeated Artenas Young in the first round at Legacy FC 27, on January 31, 2014.

UFC return
Fights seven times (5-2) only losing to Magny and Brown (both ranked top 10 at the moment). Means was pulled from the main card with Donald Cerrone as a result of a violation of the USADA anti-doping policy.

One gets 4 years for punching someone who breaks into his house?

Sounds Orwellian kind of shitty...

I think with that long of a thread, there isn't much left for a TV show.

He is the dirtiest of birds. He will be set free shortly after being wronged by the USADA and will continue his reign of terror to the top of the WW division.

“I had a prescription for Vicodin and morphine. I felt like I was on top of the world. That shit is awesome, but before you know it you’re abusing it and it’s not helping you get back on track. You want to stay fuzzy and tingly and it’s not helping you out. But you’re on a prescription and the doctors said if I had some pain, they signed it off without really thinking about a whole lot. It’s not their fault, it’s mine, but once they stopped signing off I starting doing cocaine and meth to get my fix. I didn’t know anything about meth at the time but it made me feel real good like I was on top of the world. But two, three years into that stuff I start look backing at my life and I have nothing to show for it. Wearing dirty clothes, living in a house I’m about to be evicted out of, I didn’t recognize myself in the mirror. It was starting to become someone I didn’t want to be anymore. I was wanting to get off meths and around that time I was facing new charges for an aggravated battery charge for punching a man who broke into my house. From then on I got on probation, they were giving me drug tests, and I was trying to hide the drug tests which meant not showing up to take them or not answering my probation officers phone calls to take them and the judge put me in jail. I realized freedom wasn’t what I needed at the time, I needed to buckle down and look at my addictions that’s what I did. I went to prison, and focused on correcting myself, got out in 2009, and have been running ever since.”

He got the 4 years for probation violation stemming from drug use after the assault
