I see a lot people hate on Till for this fight. Missing weight was disappointing but his performance tonight is something to appreciate. Go look at the list of fighters who didn’t pass the Wonderboy test. He is an extremely difficult fighter to figure out. Till stayed composed throughout all the fight, finally landing the big left he was looking in the 5th. It was a very good fight and a very close one. Although Till is massive, his cardio kept up with all the footwork going on, that’s a good sign for the future.

Appreciate this moment, a young 25 year old in Till just did what many high level fighters failed to do.

Usman vs Till is the obvious fight to make.

Tills cardio is very impressive for a guy that cuts that amount of weight. I agree it’s not easy going toe to toe with wonderboy and the fight being as even as it was. That being said no one won that fight as far as I’m concerned.

Better than the Magny vs Usman fight (Magny called Usman out)

What? That's not the type of fight you can judge someone's cardio off of.When he gassed terribly vs Dalby losing the 3rd 10-8,that was that type of fight. We don't know what his cardio would look like vs an RDA,Usman,Covington or any other real grinder yet.It could very well be a big problem for him.

I had it a draw until the knockdown. Very, very close fight though. Definitely not 49-46

Yes he certainly did, Rory could never miss weight because he's not an asshat.

Till is the man. I believe in him. People are sherdog have no clue what he just did. Wonderboy is so fucking dangerous. He basically turned him off.

5 star post.

Rory was a deer in headlights for the first 3 rounds and by the time he decided to fight he was already down 4 rounds.

Rory tried to engage Thompson, not stand in the centre lifting his leg up and down while waving his hands about.

He didn't make weight, and he didn't really have to exert himself.

What are you impressed by?

Same with Till tbh except he only waited 3 rounds and was marketable enough to get some hometown cooking on the decision

Wonderboy seems like the king of defensive gatekeepers. Like running through a wall of fireballs in Super Mario.

Get a decision over him and you're in the big boy club and can pass to the final boss.

Styles, size.

I'm also certain Rory doesn't fight Wonderboy like that again. He has made similar comments, true or not, he believes he applied poor tactics and would address a Wondeboy fight differently.

It was a coin flip fight and dude missed weight, not impressive at all. In fact most people had him losing.

Rory didn't have the hype machine instilling fear into Wonderboy in advance.

Yeah, Rory is generally fun to watch.

He went five rounds and wasn’t gassed. Conor doesn’t have to exert himself either and he’s blowing out of his arse after two.i think that it was pretty widely accepted that after a terrible cut a guy doesn’t generally have much endurance.

Rory has no chance. He’s a great fighter but styles make fights

1. Comparing Till's cardio to Conor's does not mean that Till's cardio is good.

2. Conor exerted himself more in the Diaz rematch when he was beating the shit about of Nate than Till did in the entire five rounds against Thompson.

This fight doesn't tell you anything about what he's going to look like if and when he makes 170 and has a competitive fight.

I honestly don't know how that can be argued.
