Any Feedback from this gym?I want to mostly focus on Muay Thai but keep my BJJ/MMA game sharp as well but mostly focus on Muay Thai.Is this a good place to do so.

There is a great blog on fightpassport.com that has a lot of information about tiger MT.

I suggest you check it out.

I'll be there for 3 weeks in March but as of right now, i can't really comment. i will tell you that I've read alot of great thread/comments about TMT, enough to convince me to give it a try.

they have a BBQ fight night regularly.
you can step in and have a go under MMA rules then enjoy the BBQ.

That's exactly what I was going to say. He also has some post in the K-1 Forum (his name is fightpassport).

I'm looking at going there next August.

I lived at TMT for three months this year. They have smoker MT and MMA fights once per month on the full moon.

The MMA instructors consist of Ray Ellbe and Andreas.

Anymore questions just ask!

Its a good place to train, Alan Belcher gave a FREE seminar and I think if youre there for any length of time its normal for UFC names and guys big in the sport to appear.

However it isnt the best place if youre looking for a true thai experience, they dont have any thais training there, only falang, altho theres a good dozen thai instructors all of whom are highly qualified and will improve your game without question.
But as I said if its an original thai gym you are after you will be disapointed.

The MMA programme is good, but not great. You will get a good roll with grapplers of every level as well so in that sense its good value, and Phuket is gorgeous, some of the best beaches in the world, im not kidding.

Fighting Talk I highly doubt you have even been to TMT.

Most of the Thai Trainers still fight and train for fights. If you go to camp in off times you will see them kicking pads. They will join in sparring and doing the clinch circle more often then not also.

They have 30 trainer's not a dozen...

UFC fighter's and professional athlete's don't not just "show up" every week...

Don't get me started on the "Original Thai Gym" comment. People go to TMT to learn authentic MT not to live like a Thai person.

I don't think he was slamming TMT. He was stating that it isn't a camp that produces stadium champs. It's a tourist camp, there is nothing wrong with that, but let's not pretend it is something it isn't.

TMT has fighters that have won the local stadium belts and TMT has 3 fights heading to the prestigious kings cup this year. A team of 4 fighters also just went to Russia to fight.

It's a Muay Thai camp that attracts a lot of tourist due to it's size and it's reputation as one of the best training facilities in SE Asia.

So there are Thai's training there?

The Thai trainers that are employees train there. No stadium fighters are produced there.

you would not say that if you won the title

One of my students won the title in his first fight in Phuket. I have personally seen three people win the same title over the course of 3 months without fighting each other. It is a tourist title awarded at Bangla.

Relax man...
