Throwing a baby shower @ work for a relative. Right or Wrong?

Say you'll bring the hors d'oeuvres and bring in month old shrimp boats.

Is the shower during work hours?

Yes: You have the right to get upset.
No: Don't let it bother you.

You are not obligated to give anything.

You do not know the lady that's pregnant.
You do not know the father of the baby.

Would have been better if title was"throwing a right cross @ work"

<TrumpWrong1>

I guess if I punched a clock, I'd be down for any reason to eat cake or whatever the hell a baby shower entails while at work, but a baby shower when nobody at the place is even having a kid is pretty blatant.

So some lady at my mom's job is throwing a baby shower for her knocked up daughter who doesn't even work there.

I was like what? That's fucking bullshit! You gotta atleast work there IMO.

I mean whats next? Asking for Birthday Presents for someone who doesn't even work at that job?

Its a bunch of bullshit IMO.

What you sherbros think? Is this common?

Yes, that's wrong. I'll one up you one.

I know a guy who got married and made a gofund for his honeymoon. It read something like this of remember.

"Hey guys I would love to give my wife a decent honeymoon but I'm strapped of cash due to our small wedding..."

Everytime I see him I lose more respect for him..

Sounds like a first world problem if you ask me.
