This promotion is holding an all amateur show tomorrow night. It looks like they're going to try to bring some of the old school names back around.

They're headlining a guy named Vito Belfonte (@vitobelfonte on twitter).

Any Michiganders plan on going? I'd love to get a play by play.

While I disagree with the event because I think it and it's sister show Osmosis are daft, I thought this was cancelled after Sincaid couldn't get a license?

Throwback's facebook and twitter are gone, right as Sherdog's best known shill, Stu Fiore aka Edmond Rousey [the account he liked to talk shit about fighters on so he could carry on his anonymous coward spiel on his named account] is banned and his twitter is gone as well.

Hang on, is this the 8man tournament with former ufc fighters? Or is that something else?

He's finally gone, What got him the ban hammer?

Is that like an Italian version of Vitor Belfort?

That sucks. So is it one of these fly by night promotions?

I think the concept is good.

I don't even know if the event happened, but they were asking fighters to fight for free, poor management, zero interest drummed up because shill posting was blatant and shill posters were assholes anyway. I'd entertain the idea they sold a couple of tickets and decided to cut and run with it.

The concept sounds good but it isn't. It isn't under NHB rules, I think most fighters that were planned for it didn't fight in the NHB days, Rory Singer clarified he had a amateur fight with 12-6 elbows and knees to downed opponents being completely legal, other than that it was 155lb amateur fighters.
