Three dead in Belgium anti-terror raids

A police operation took place near the centre of Verviers, according to the Belga news agency, quoting federal prosecutors.

The news agency said there were several casualties and that police activity was continuing.

Explosions were reportedly heard near the city's station, according to Belgian public broadcaster RTBF.

A source from the mayor's office told AFP: "An operation is under way."

Another official allegedly claimed the incident was "jihadist-related".

Earlier today Belgian authorities arrested a man suspect of supplying weapons to the gunmen responsible for last week's terror attacks in Paris.

Anybody connected to the brothers is on a shit list and will be "visited" - Th brothers were on watch lists and were under surveillance for a couple years so all of their past contacts are known all their email has been snooped through, they were followed on their travels etc. All that bulk data mining done by governments is shit to stop future attacks but a treasure trove of info after the fact to go after anybody ever connected to the successful terrorist.
