The renowned Russian mixed martial arts fighter UFC star Khabib Nurmagomedov will come to Bishkek, at the personal invitation of the president of the National Olympic Committee of Kyrgyzstan Sharshenbek Abdykerimov. This was reported by the press service of the State Agency for Youth, Physical Education and Sports of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The athlete's visit is scheduled for January 23 this year. The meet-up with Khabib Nurmagomedov will be held in the format of a seminar-dialogue and will be held in the shopping center "Ayu Grand Comfort" on January 24 at 11:00. It will also be attended by Kyrgyz sports stars and representatives of sports communities.

"You can ask your questions to the participants of the meeting and get an autograph," the state agency said.

In a recent bout held on December 2017, Khabib Nurmagomedov won a clean victory over the Brazilian fighter Edson Barbosa. Now the athlete is actively preparing for the fight with UFC star Tony Ferguson, which will take place in the spring of 2018. Today, on January 23, Russian UFC fighter Khabib Nurmagomedov arrived in Kyrgyzstan from Boston, USA, accompanied by his father Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov. Immediately after arriving in Kyrgyzstan, Khabib Nurmagomedov met with VP of the Wrestling Federation Melis Turganbaev.

The plane with Nurmagomedov on board landed at 19.00 at the airport Manas International Airport, where he was waited by representatives of the National Olympic Committee of Kyrgyzstan, fans and journalists.

Tomorrow, January 24, Khabib Nurmagomedov will meet with the fans in the shopping center of the capital "Ayu Grand Comfort", for which he was invited to Kyrgyzstan.

At the Manas International Airport, "The Eagle" was greeted with a concert of the brass band "Bishkek City".

Impressed by the ten thousand crowd of fans who came to meet with him, Nurmagomedov wrote on his page in Instagram: "It's just crazy! This was not with me yet. About 10 thousand fans came to the meeting. Thank you very much, friends, I really appreciate this."

The event is held in the hall of the shopping complex "Ayu Grand Comfort". Long before the appearance of the fighter, all the spots in the spacious complex were occupied, each striving to come closer to the scene. The organizers took into account all the circumstances that there will be plenty of people willing to see the legendary fighter and not everyone will be able to get to the meeting.

For convenience, two huge screens were installed outdoors which broadcast the event inside. So even those who stood on the street could witness this event. People did not disperse despite the frost. The meeting was attended by representatives of the sports community, journalists and sports fans.
