I know Ramsey TKO'd him. But I was quite impressed with his performance against Cruicksank, and esp Jim Miller. I don't think it's too soon to say this guy might be a legit prospect at 155.

Jim Miller is a very good Submission grappler with solid wrestling chops and a BB in Bjj. Dariush made him look help less on the mat. similar to when I watch a purple belt roll with a black belt.

Anyway I'd def like to see how'd he do against Khabib, or Benson. what say you?

Of course he already is a legit LW prospect. I don't think he will ever be top 5 though. Dariush is on a 4 fight win streak IIRC, and should fight either Gilbert Burns or Michael Chiesa since basically all top 15 LW fighters are already booked.

His rapid improvement has been impressive. You can def. see Cordeiro's impact on his game.

His ground game was already elite, his takedowns are good, and his striking has been catching up to those two. His performance against Miller was nearly flawless. I think he should face Michael Johnson now that Bendo had to pull out. It'd be a good test for both.

Chiesa would be an interesting fight I think his win over miller which sadly has become a high level gate keeper means hes ready for deep waters. I'd throw him Gil, or alvarez.... and your AV is disturbing lol

Tough kid, good camp, very solid BJJ. The Miller win was impressive as Miller is still durable as hell. He could be a force in the division with some improved striking, which won't be a problem under Cordeiro.

Great fighter with great potential. He is working with cordeiro as well so he will benefit greatly. He is well rounded in all aspects I see him ranked above 10 maybe 5 in the stacked division.

Rafael Cordeiro has really helped him round out his game.

He looked great against Miller and Cruickshank. Which really reveals that his striking and ground game are complementing each other very well. He's putting everything together and he's a threat for anybody outside of the top 5 of the LW division.

He's looked good, it was the Cruickshank fight that made me begin to notice him. I would like to see him against Ross Pearson but I think Pearson and Michael Chiesa have a rumored fight in July. Would like to see him fight the Meideiros-Poirier winner.

Yeah cordeiro's turning these grapplers into some legit ass strikers. I never thought Werdum would beat Hunt on strikes, or RDA beat pettis on strikes. is cordeiro ole skool chute boxe?

Agreed. He is a scary and capable Fighter. Such a force on top

It's always very impressive when a high level grappler shows signs of having top notch striking instincts. Keeping an eye on this guy.

Was both surprised and extremely depressed that he out worked Miller on the ground, and made it look easy. Truly sucked. I'd like to see him fight Khabilov now. Battle of fringe prospects with impressive ground games.

Also I'd like to see Miller V Guida. ;)
If Clay really is going up like he said after Pineda. Only problem would be I wouldn't know who to root for. Off topic but jus sayin.

I think Dariush would give MJ a run for his money but I doubt the UFC makes that fight.

you know that's what made me sit up and pay attention too. Jim has subbed some legit BJJ blackbelts . and him and his brother have both been wrestling since they were small kids. so yeah the guys seems legit.

add to it the Gegard mousasi "I'm about to go to sleep look" when he fights is even more unsettling

He got knocked out by Nijem. Enough said.
He will win some, lose some. Probably a fringe top 10 fighter throughout his career.

roflmaoasdlol. Johnson is too good for Dariush.

Hey man, guys lose. And then they improve. With him, I see a lot of potential. But his best weapon is jiu jitsu from what I've seen lately. Not sure if that's going to be enough to get him into title contention. But I like him anyway because his BJJ style is actually entertaining to watch.

Yeah, he won the IVC title when he was training there back in the day.
