Thompson needs to watch the overhand rights!

i am a serious wonderboy fan, but I have noticed he gets caught with rights a lot. As he backs up, and moves to his left the overhand right often catches him. Against Woodley this is death.

Thompson is hyped right now to face Tyron but the worst case scenario would be Thompson getting k-o ed by that overhand right. Tyron wants the money fights while making a name for himself, so a loss to Tyron regardless of his belt would be bad for Thompson.

Get out of the way of the overhand right.

Considering that right hand is Woodleys only weapon I expect Wonderboy who's already got great defense will game plan and adjust accordingly.

And besides Jakes right hand I've never seen Thompson hit hard with a right hand as you suggest.

Obviously Wonderboy will circle to Woodley´s left to avoid the big right, just like Bisping circled correctly when he KOed Luke.... Besides, Lawler made himself a target by doing nothing but running for the first 2 minutes of that fight, then Woodley was comfortable enough to set his feint and land his bomb. If Lawler had done what he always does, to pressure the guy, Woodley wouldn´t have responded well, just like in the Rory fight or at least would be worried about Lawler´s attacks..... But we´ll see.

You say the same thing on every Wonderboy/Woodley thread. Roufus is a good coach, but Anthony and Sergio Pettis haven't exactly been doing that great with their striking. Wonderboy will have an answer to whatever Woodley will try.

You´re probably right, but he didn´t throw anything at all just kept circling and walking backwards, so Tyron felt too comfortable to stalk him.
