"He's Tate's husband, so he got the media atention" lol

That would be an interesting fight, I don't know if Almeida's TDD is good enough to win though.

He's not very far from a title shot, I wonder if he will be ready

Everyone always seems to underestimate Caraway.

I feel like, if this fight does get put together, Caraway would be a decently sized underdog and that would be great for me since I have made a pretty decent chunk of change betting on him in the past and I would put a few units on him straight up for sure in this match up.

Was just thinking that... Poor guy can't even respond quick enough, gets called out almost every day by someone.

I think Almeida beats him by decision.

Almeida is ranked 10, Carraway is 6. Carraway already said he wouldn't fight anyone lower than him.

I don't see a guy at the cusp of making top 5 flying to brazil to fight a guy ranked 4 spots behind him. Most likely not going to happen unless UFC puts some pressure on him to do it.

I'd rather see Rivera fight Almeida or Sterling. Carraway should fight Mcdonald if he ever comes back

Sounds like a good fight, I believe in the Almeida hype.

Funny how everybody is calling Caraway out. Being Tate's man definitely adds a bit of attention to him and he's got that Jake Shields type skillset where he's sneaky good and guys underestimate him

Almeida seems like a real prospect but sometimes people dismiss Caraway too much because of his personality. I think he could at least put up a fight. Also, I forgot Johnny Eduardo was still a thing.

I agree, when I think of this matchup I picture Caraway getting a decision just as much as I picture Almedia doing his thing.

Matchup makes sense though, I think it should be put together. They need to get Urijah a fight already

I wouldn't object to that fight. Caraway would be a good test to see how well Almeida can defend against a good wrestler. Almeida could pick up a victory over another pretty well known guy if he wins, and if Caraway wins he could be looking at title shot after beating a much hyped prospect.

Almeida better drill some TDD then.

I don't think Caraway takes the fight though. He's already made his intentions clear after his last fight.
