On Tuesday Demian Maia, Colby's only current top 10 win, will drop out of the top 10

Colby's doesn't deserve a title shot! Besides Usman he has been fighting nothing but washed up old men like a Demian Maia, Robbie Lawler and TWood. His best win in Woodley is cut from the UFC and is fighting Jake Paul next

Wonderboy deserve the next shot if he beats Burns
 
Colbie has talked his way into sherdogger hearts. Only way to explain how a guy who got decimated by the champ is getting another title shot after beating Shouldley Wouldley.
 
Colby's record consists of literally 1 good win in RDA. The rest of the names on his record like you said are old men Lawler, Woodley and Maia.

He had a good showing against Usman because they didn't dare wrestling each other. Kamaru's striking has improved tremendously.

If the rematch with Usman happens, he's getting finished within 3 rounds.
 
None of the top 5 have fought each other. WW is a mess of a division

No, you lying liar. Their first fight was fucking fun. That's why folks want a sequel. You think Wonderboy and Leon will have fun fights with Usman, you liar?

Otherwise, yes. OP is correct. Colby's been a severe dust farmer and just ducked Leon multiple times. It's tough to make a resume/ranking's case for his title shot.

Burns has zero when Maia drops out but atleast he is scheduled to fight Wonderboy and if he wins he deserves a title shot over cuckington
 
Colby won't fall down and quit from a jab or get murked like Jorge.
He is definitely the number one contender.
Wonderboy is next.
Usman want to defend against Nate Diaz for Christ sake.
I think it's funny that Leon scissor hands Edwards will never get a tittle shot, he need to rematch Muhammed first and then beat someone in the top five.

Leon beat #5 Luque, was also ducked by Masvidal and lost his last one vs the champ.

And Burns is fighting Wonderboy. One of them will have a new TOP 10 win and if it's Wonderboy, he'll have 4 (Burns, Geoff Neal, Mas, Luque).

And Leon's best wins are against shopworn lightweights Nate, RDA and Cowboy, 13th ranked Nelson, and an unranked Luque back in 2017. Leon already got wrestlefucked by Usman all 3 rounds. Colby and Usman were dead even going into the 5th round. Usman Colby 2 is far more intriguing.

Whilst I agree with you in spirit at least Colby had to go away and win a fight whilst Masvidal just pouted on twitter to get his rematch.
