This man is the greatest fighter to ever walk the face of this Earth, ever. No issues of drugs, PEDs, and other nonsense. He fought because he loved to fight - not because of the fame, money, or other things that put in question the heart of guys like Jones. And he dominated. Undefeated against the best world could offer for over a decade. And none of this point fighting nonsense - pure, unadulterated fighting.

Fedor is the greatest of all time.
 
Apparently being a GOAT has nothing to with fighting. You just have to be a nice person.

I'm not saying he's not an amazing fighter. I'm saying that a lot of the reasons in this post have nothing to do with fighting.

Being the GOAT is being the greatest fighter of all time regardless of your personality.
 
What GoldenAzazel is trying to get across to you is that Jones's personal problems have no effect whatsoever on his status as one of the greatest fighters of all time.
 
Well he fought in an organization that doesn't test for PEDs and Fedor had some connections with Putin so it's not like he'd ever get in trouble for anything that happened in Russia.

Just saying it's different when you fight in 3rd world promotions and live in 3rd world countries, news doesn't come out quite as easily.

Apparently TS has never seen the Bones/Gus or the Bones/Vitor fights, say what you want about Bones' actions outside of the cage but to question his heart inside of the cage is just plain stupid

I'm sorry, but money was the stain on Fedor's career. The only reason he never fought in the UFC was because him and M1 wanted half of the event profits and rights to every PPV he was on.

All of the GOATs have something that brought them down, some cardinal sin. PEDs, excessive whining, never being motivated to train once they made it, glaring weakness that was never corrected, etc. Everyone except Aldo so far, which says a lot about him.
 
Fedor huggers are the most insecure fans in the sport. Constantly in need of validation.

And no, none of this stuff going on with Jones makes Fedor the goat.

Silva's PED bust has put into question his past performances.

GSP was dominant, but his wins were often drawn out decisions and he was critizied for "lay n' pray"

Jones has beaten the best of the best - but he seems more in love with the fame game then fighting. He's slipping up.

Fedor was a brutal fighter, a fighter's fighter, and was undefeated for over a decade.

Anderson - steroids
GSP - not a finisher
Bones - testosterone of a 8 year old girl, cocaine problem, doesn't have the mindset of a martial artist, eye pokes, etc
Fedor - lost a couple fights at the end of his career (like every fighter ever)
