This performance did not do a lot to get excitement for UFC 200 (if JJ/DC goes there)

Odds are JJ/DC winds up on 200.
Too bad tonight did nothing to add any excitement.
But once DC & JJ start the pressers it will pick up.
I just wish JJ looked better during the fight.
 
I'm with you. After tonight I'm almost hoping for MM/Cruz (if he beats Faber) just as much.
 
My problem with Jones/DC as a style matchup is that I never have the feeling that either ever has a good chance to end the fight. I feel that every time they fight that it will unfold in a predictable way. That takes some of the excitement away for me. It just seems like neither can really seriously damage the other. Very high probability of another decision with Jones slowly picking Cormier apart as he trudges forward.
