How in the hell can any human beat this? It gets crazier and crazier later on in the game. Your hand eye coordination must be legendary to pull this off

I've played some of these types of shooters, to the casual they are known as shmups, but to others, they are BULLET HELL GAMES. You get used to how they play, becomes 'normal' to do. But remember, this player is most likely a very dedicated player, like hours and hours and hours. Remember the patterns, waves, easy as squirting lemon juice in your eye.

SOURCE: Me playing Ikaruga. I've played many of these games, first I was introduced to this awesome genre on the Genesis. A game by the name of Gaiares, with an insanely good soundtrack, but I don't think it was released in the states, hence why many don't know of it.

Most of those bullet hell games have hit boxes much much smaller than your character size. Luckily you have shields and extra lives though because there was no dodging some of those bullet fields on that last enemy.

1943, Raiden, Gradius, Parodius, Ikaruga was a really good one but I could never get used to the changing colors I'd always fuck it up and die.

I have it on the 360. I can make it to the third level, LOL. Game is hard as shit, but fun as hell.

That sounds about as far as I would make it lol. Even playing with a friend we couldn't get very far. Still fun as hell to play. The music is intense as well.

I've been playing this Hyperspace Invaders II on steam and its pretty wild.
Still have no idea what kills you if it touches you or not... but its intense.

I meant in general when it comes to fighting games. Didn't really care for Tekken 6 or TTT2 to be honest, lol.
