The rounds shouldn't be scored numerically. They should simply be ranked as they happen. E.g.
Round 1 to Whittaker
Round 1 to Whittaker
Round 2 to Whittaker
Round 3 to Romero
Round 1 to Whittaker
Round 2 to Whittaker
Round 3 to Romero
Round 1 to Whittaker
Round 2 to Whittaker
Round 4 to Whittaker
Round 5 to Romero
Round 3 to Romero
Round 1 to Whittaker
Round 2 to Whittaker
Round 4 to Whittaker
The winner is determined by how that final bolded ranking looks. If either fighter wins 5-0 or 4-1, then obviously they win. But if it's 3-2, then it depends how the rounds are ordered. If the fighter who's 3-2 up has the top ranked round, then he wins. Otherwise, it goes to judge discretion to determine the winner, like the bolded ranking above. I'd score it 3-2 to Whittaker, but it'd be possible to score it 2-3 to Romero.
