The Fertitta's came very close to monopolizing MMA. It's very difficult for regional MMA to make any money and their competition on PPV is a joke. A guy like Floyd who self promotes is completely foreign to them. They have no idea what it's like to pay their fighters what they are worth. With fighters recognizing their limited leverage and the friction of WME's loan debt this will likely improve but it'll do so slowly until there is a union or a credible competitor to the UFC particularly in the PPV space.

All sad and done the total revenue from auch an event would approach 400M. Split it up anyway u want and they both get crazy rich.

Of course MW should get at least 60-40...
