Like seriously... I don't know how to feel

There hasn't been enough time to properly process this match

Imagine what DC and Silva must be thinking

How do you prepare on 2 days?

I want and expect DC to win but damn .... Silva is in a place where he has NOTHING to lose and everything to gain by winning.

The energy going into this fight is wild and unpredictable.

I feel like anything can happen in this one...

Well at least it wasn't like Silva has been sitting around for 6 months and took the call. As of May 10th he was in a full camp. Then surgery so suspect he's been training and feels decent on some level despite what he said about not training.

Its a big name/draw
its a guy of similar size who is not injured
its a guy who theoretically hang with DC
its a guy DC can steamroll in 3 rounds to retain the legitimacy of his belt

its that easy

Maybe Anderson's trolling. He is a lifetime trolling hall of famer. I've seen footage of him training pretty hard since his surgery.

The belt's not even on the line

DC vs Anderson is a much worse fight than Anderson vs Hall. And that statement is not to be taken lightly. Terrible fight.

I'm excited for this one, an Anderson ko would be epic...

Ok so I just checked. Silva has been training for a while now. He was trying to get on the UFC 200 card over a month ago.

‘Master, pack everything up. We’re going to UFC 200.’ The most important thing is that he kept his mind strong and didn’t lose his motivation. On the contrary, he’s really motivated to take part at that historical UFC 200 event."

DC gonna dump this fool on his head the first second of the first minute of the first round.

It would be worth it to watch Anderson win only to see GSP's nuthuggers try their damndest to discredit the accomplishment.

I can hear the excuses already.

"oh it's only because Cormier was sadz about not being able to fight John"

"It was only because of the height difference."

"lucky knee"

I just hope Anderson doesn't get injured while being tossed around.
I'll be rooting for a well placed counter by Anderson, but I know DC probably wins easy.

Was honestly thinking the same. His stand up looked shit tonight tho lime actually slow as fuck.

Yeah. At least though he has ground defence... In the past few years, the moment Rumble, Weidman, Machida etc got taken down, they all got finished. Anderson gets taken down and he takes just about zero damage.

DC proved he could lay on Anderson for 3 rounds. Not sure if I would call that winning.

He didn't try to finish him on the ground, didn't go for submissions, didn't look to advance position. He had a big weight advantage and chose to play it safe.
